Family and Spiritual Growth: Lessons Learned During The Holidays

by Scott

Explore experiences and lessons learned at the intersection of family dynamics and spiritual growth during the holidays.

“If you think you are enlightened, go spend a week with your family” – Ram Dass

This holiday I got my ass handed to me.

It was probably the most difficult Christmas I’ve had besides the first one after the passing of my father.

With these challenges came growth and new awareness. It was hard, but I am grateful for it all.

I thought I’d share my experience and then conclude the post with some takeaways from the experience you might find helpful.

Tis The Season for Family And Spiritual Growth

My fiancee and I flew into New York to see some friends on the 21st. I don’t really drink …

Scott Britton Newsletter: What To Expect This 2023

by Scott

Explore Scott Britton’s Newsletter, a thought-provoking journey filled with reflections, innovative ideas, and exciting opportunities

I started writing publicly about my experiences exploring the expansion of consciousness earlier this year in order to share what has been the most meaningful pursuit of my life. I wasn’t sure whether I would enjoy the process and if anything would come of it.

It’s been just over 4 months publishing now and lots of joy & meaning from this process has emerged. I’ve had probably hundreds of people reach out to me indicating that they were going through something similar or that they were able to find clarity by seeing parts of their own journey in mine. This feedback has provided a sense of purpose …

Being an Ayahuasca Shaman: Behind The Scenes

by Scott

Join me on a conversation with Zach Poitra, as we explore the transformative journey of being an Ayahuasca shaman.

Listen on Itunes, Spotify, or Youtube.

This week’s episode is with my good friend and former Shaman Zach Poitra who I’ve worked with during 3 separate ayahuasca retreats.

Zach’s story is amazing. After working for an investment bank for 10 years, he moved down to Peru to live in the jungle and work on himself. What he thought would be a temporary stint transpired into him meeting and training with his shamanic teacher in the jungle for 4.5 years before becoming a full-time ayahuasca shaman himself. Now after many years helping others with their own inward work, he has felt a calling to re-enter the world of …

The Power of Societal Consciousness: How it Shapes the Market

by Scott

Using the Conscious Continuum to gain a deeper understanding of market demand and the role of societal consciousness in shaping it.

I am very interested in the intersection of business, technology, and the evolution of consciousness.

Last week I wrote about creator consciousness and the idea that one’s level of consciousness vastly impacts what, why, and how one creates. I used an adapted, unified model of Consciousness I’ve been tinkering with called “The Human Consciousness Continuum” to characterize what these common expressions look like.

This model can be leveraged to understand the why things are the way they are across an inconceivable number of life’s vectors.

Today I wanted to share ideas on how we can view collective consciousness as a proxy to understanding how …

Somatic Release Cautions and Eckhart Tolle’s Surrender Story

by Scott

I made two videos over the past few weeks that I wanted to share. Here, I’m going to talk about Echkart Tolle, and some cautions on Somatic Release.

Eckhart Tolle’s Surrender Story

This first video was inspired by reading how Eckhart Tolle left his job as a professor to move to a new continent and write The Power of Now. I’ve followed his work for a few years and didn’t know this story until recently reading it in his book A New Earth.

Eckhart is a fantastic teacher and a great example of someone creating spontaneously from pure consciousness as described in Creator Consciousness. It is very clear he is channeling information in complete presence when he speaks that forgoes any thinking mind filter.

This story as a fantastic …

Othership CEO Robbie Bent: Breathwork and Transformation Work

by Scott

Othership is a wellness company that uses breathwork as a key tool for transformational work. Led by CEO Robbie Bent, Othership is at the forefront of the wellness industry and has helped many individuals achieve profound and lasting changes in their lives.

Listen on Itunes, Spotify, or Youtube.

The first time I did breathwork was early 2019. I remember thinking “holy shit! How is this not more popular!?”

Since then I’ve been waiting for someone to build an amazing company in the space. There was a short time period in 2019 I considered doing it myself, but I lacked the courage to leave Troops at the height of my interest and I wasn’t in the position to start something after the loss of a family member & …

Creator Consciousness: Creativity and Consciousness Intersects

by Scott

Gain a deeper understanding of the creative process and the inner world of creators with our exploration of Creator Consciousness.

At one point, I thought most people who were creating content were narcissists.

This was especially the case in the spiritual realm of creators. If you’re so enlightened and really know who you are then why would you need to tell everyone about it? It seemed rather egoic to me.

Part of this perspective was a reflection of my own consciousness at that time which was just projecting back to me. I now see that more broadly all creators are merely doing things from different subjective levels of consciousness. This revelation has impacted my own creativity, consumption habits, and inspiration to create.

The easiest way to think …

Exploring the Psychedelic Industry’s Future with Dylan Beynon

by Scott

I am very excited about the future of the Psychedelic Industry to help improve health outcomes across a wide range of behavioral and emotional issues.

Listen on Spotify, Itunes, or Youtube.

Dylan Beynon, my guest on this episode, is one of my best friends. I owe a lot to this man. He was the person who ushered me into my first psychedelic experience described in Becoming No One and more recently re-introduced me to my fiancee!

He is honestly one of the smartest people I know. It should come as no surprise that his business Mindbloom is the largest provider of ketamine assisted therapy in the United States right now.

Right now Ketamine is the only legal, controlled substance that broadly falls into the category of psychedelics. It is my belief …
